A New Language for Santander

When Santander launched its new visual identity, we signed the audiovisual language and co-directed the launch film, in partnership with BETC Havas and production company Tropical Filmes. A new lens on the brand: naturalistic, intimate and elegant, irreverent without losing maturity. Santander red stopped being just a color — and became a narrative element, marking the exact moment each character decides to take the leap.

The treatment was built on a naturalistic approach and contemporary, sophisticated cinematography with a fashion-forward sensibility, alternating intimate close-ups with wide, breathing frames.

The brand's red was the most strategic element of the language we built. Rather than artificially tinting scenes, the red always appears justified. The color doesn't illustrate the brand: it marks the turning point.
